30 HOUR TRAUMA CONSCIOUS TRAINING
This course will look at an understanding of what trauma is, common effects and responses to trauma and how Yoga can provide the groundwork and foundation for healing. We will look at trauma through a neurobiological lens and apply the principles of Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, and Trauma-Informed Care to deepen your Yoga practice and teachings. We will explore asana practices to support healing.
When engaging in any kind of trauma work, self-care and compassion is essential. Part of this course focuses on learning about your own nervous system and curating self-care practices to support your own journey.
